Without a customer, you don&#8217;t have a business.  In the online world, since customers are reading your materials, we call them your audience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Things You Should Know About Creating An Audience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>So, how does this apply to Internet marketing?  The same principles hold true.  For example, I have a Facebook page.  As of yet, I haven&#8217;t invited anyone to like my page and I haven&#8217;t posted anything to it.<\/p>\n<p>Having the page doesn&#8217;t actually get me closer to my dreams and goals.<\/p>\n<p>But, having the page and using it to interact with the world will.<\/p>\n<p>To create readers to your website or pretty much generate interest in anything (whether it is a new science museum or the local bagel shop&#8217;s Friday Morning Special), you must say something.  If people don&#8217;t know, they cannot choose to support your efforts.<\/p>\n<p>So, the easiest way to &#8220;spread the word&#8221; is to simply ask people to take action.  Granted, only few will take action, but it doesn&#8217;t hurt to ask.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recipe For Creating An Audience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Ingredients:<\/em><br \/>\n1) Website<br \/>\n2) Email List<br \/>\n3) Social Media Pages<br \/>\n4) Confidence<br \/>\n5) Time<\/p>\n<p><em>Instructions:<\/em><br \/>\nStep 1: Using confidence, add structured* content that people are searching for to your website.<br \/>\nStep 2: Add links to the new content on various Social Media sites such as Twitter and Facebook as well as notifying your subscribers that new information is available.<br \/>\nStep 3: Finally, repeat step two while sprinkling in time.<br \/>\nStep 4: Wait one day.<br \/>\nStep 5: Repeat all steps.<\/p>\n<p>*Search engines have expectations of what makes a &#8220;good&#8221; site.  Be sure to structure your information not only to please human visitors, but also to please those &#8220;other&#8221; visitors.<\/p>\n<p>Stay tuned for my next update.
